Kitchen Sink Drama

Born out of a self-imposed writing exercise, Paul's 100-word flash fiction stories weren’t meant to see the light of day. But his family, his earliest readers, encouraged him to loose their chains. First to take them in was Monthly editor Nick Feik who published six in October 2016. Good Weekend magazine editor Katrina Strickland then decided, gamely, to publish them in a weekly column, and enhance them with Jim Pavlidis’ vivid illustrations. The weekly column, one of Good Weekend's most popular offerings, is now in its sixth year. In 2020, Text Publishing released Kitchen Sink Drama, a book featuring 100 stories previously seen in Good Weekend. The book is currently available through bookshops and online retailers. A selection of published stories can be found on Paul's Kitchen Sink Drama Instagram page. See link above.
